Untitled brownviolet

Untitled brownviolet - 2001 by Gunther Forg shows broad colour strokes laid over a painted ground. The brown and violet passages meet on the sheet without smooth blending.

Gunther Forg worked with paint on canvas and built his painterly abstraction through overlapping marks and flat colour areas. This fine art print sits inside a frame with a back panel.

The matte surface keeps the brown and violet tones even and stops a lamp from adding shine. The frame sits flat against the wall and the back panel keeps the layers steady. It fits a study wall above a desk where the darker brown shapes hold attention from the working seat and the purple field stays quiet under the lamp.

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
