About this work
Landing
A flock of birds takes flight in Landing. This is a moment of motion and stillness, a snapshot of nature's quiet drama. Jean-Paul Riopelle's brushstrokes capture the essence of movement, the flutter of wings against the vast sky.
The artwork is a symphony of blues and whites, with hints of ochre and umber peeking through. The birds, though abstract, are unmistakable, their forms suggested by quick, confident strokes. The background is a canvas of textured hues, a sky that seems to ripple with the birds' movement.
This poster brings a sense of calm and dynamism to any space, perfect for a quiet corner or a prominent wall.
