Hurrah Vacuii.. - 1988 opens on a dark ground with a sharp white rectangle near the centre and a few black marks around it. Nothing else fills the sheet.

This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. Empty space sits on all sides and the weight stays near the middle. The work keeps its silence. Paul Thek built the page through careful marks that stay where he put them.

The metal hanger on the back fits onto a nail or screw and the print goes up straight. No separate frame is needed. In a bedroom, the white block reads from the foot of the bed and the grey ground settles the rest of the wall.
