Untitled — Fine Art

Three pale bands of grey and brown sit on a soft cream ground inside Untitled 1966. The paint sits in thin layers, and the bands run across the sheet with a quiet rhythm. You see a smooth field with a few darker marks near the lower edge.

The fine art print comes with a white frame. The white edge holds the picture on the wall and keeps the pale ground from fading into the plaster. A wood finish also works, and the darker wood settles the grey tones. A black frame gives the sheets a sharper line.

You hang it on a hallway wall near the stairs. From the landing you see the pale bands and the slow way they move. Under the hall light the grey tones stay even and the frame edge stays clear.
