Untitled Blue Zig-Zags — Fine Art

Blue zig-zag lines run across the sheet in Untitled Blue Zig-Zags - 1988. The marks sit on a pale ground and the tone shifts from a deeper blue at one end to a lighter blue at the other. Paul Thek worked in paint and mixed materials, and the drawing feels close to that hand built method.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. A light frame sits on a dark wall and the pale paper reads clearly against it. Place the print higher on the wall so the blue lines sit over the darker paint.

In a bedroom, the blue zig-zags break up a plain painted surface and the eye follows the lines from the foot of the bed. The darker blue at one end gives a point to rest on.
