Joy Pop

Joy Pop - 1998 shows a painted field built from stacked rectangular shapes. The forms sit side by side with hard edges and flat colour.

Peter Halley builds this kind of picture from repeated cells and bold outlines. You get a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel.

The surface holds the line work without glare under a lamp. A hallway wall works well for this picture. From the far end you read the stacked shapes, closer up the paint edges stay clear.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
