Cercles du Matin — Fine Art

Cercles du Matin - 1992 by Piero Dorazio shows a field of painted circles set against a warm ground. The shapes overlap and shift in tone across the picture plane. The work belongs to the postwar European abstract painting practice of Piero Dorazio.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black. A dark wood frame gives the painted circles a firm border on the wall. The matte paper holds the soft colour shifts without any shine.

On a bedroom wall above the bed the circles read as soft bands of colour. From the doorway you see the whole field at once, and the darker wood line holds the picture in place.
