Interior with View of the Ocean — Fine Art

The painting Interior with View of the Ocean by Richard Diebenkorn shows a window looking out over water. Thick paint covers the inside wall. Thin lines cross the room. The view outside breaks into flat bands of blue and green.

This fine art print sits inside a frame with a back panel. The matte paper holds the paint marks without shine, so the blue bands stay even and the drawn lines stay sharp.

In a bedroom over the bed, the blue bands read as a distant sea. From the doorway the painted room fills the wall. Up close the pencil lines show the hand that made them.
