Lure II

Lure II - 1976 shows a soft band of color drifting across a muted ground. The shape bends and thins, leaving a quiet stretch of empty paper on either side. Ron Gorchov built this kind of work from slow color fields that slide past one another. This fine art print keeps that lean layout intact.

The white frame sets a clean border around the painting edge. The white finish keeps the picture open, so the color band does not feel boxed in. The clear edge lets the eye move along the fade without stopping.
