Blossoming Trees — Fine Art

Blossoming Trees by Childe Hassam opens with pale blooms stacked on a branch against a soft sky. The artist worked in the American Impressionist style, using quick brushstrokes and broken colour to catch spring light. Thin paint sits on the surface and the marks stay visible.

This fine art print uses a matte finish so the pale greens and pinks do not shine under a lamp. The frame finish can follow the room, a dark frame on a pale wall or a wood frame beside wooden furniture. The paper sits flat and the colours stay even.

In a bedroom, this print hangs on the wall beside the bed. From the chair you see the branch fill the top of the picture and the soft light behind it. The pale flowers sit quiet against the sky.
