Still Life with Two Sunflowers

Still Life with Two Sunflowers puts two flower heads into a simple view. Yellow petals and green calyces stand out against the ground. The paint sits in thick short strokes that follow the flower forms. Vincent van Gogh worked in the post impressionist painting movement.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. You can see the marks from across the room. Up close the painted strokes become clear. The paper is matte, so the yellow and green tones stay soft and there is no shine under a lamp.

No separate frame to buy. It works well on a kitchen wall near the sink. From the doorway you notice the two yellow flower heads against the darker ground. Close up you see the thick painted strokes around each petal.
