Infinity Field, Lefkada Series #2

The field in Infinity Field, Lefkada Series #2 - 1978 spreads across the sheet in broad bands of colour. The brush moves in a slow horizontal sweep, and each band meets the next with a soft shift in tone. A pale ground shows between the forms.

A fine art print from Zephyer uses a black frame that gives the picture a clean line on the wall. The frame edge keeps the painted bands from fading into the space around them.

It hangs on the wall near a kitchen table. You notice the wide colour bands while you wait for the kettle. The black frame stays sharp against the tiles.
