Infinity Field, Lefkatos Series II - 1978 shows broad colour areas laid on the sheet. Several horizontal bands sit in a loose rhythm. The marks vary in tone without lining up. Theodoros Stamos built his work around simple fields of colour.

A fine art print keeps the soft edges and the quiet shifts between the bands. It hangs on a pale wall where the light stays even. The dark frame sits beside a wooden side table and the colour areas stay easy to read.

In the dining room, the print rests on the wall beside the table. You notice the broad bands first, then the small changes in tone as you pass the doorway.
