Beyond — Fine Art

The painting Beyond by Toko Shinoda holds a broad field of ink with a few sharp calligraphic strokes. The marks read as clean lines rather than soft washes.

You see the hand of the artist in the quick edge of a brush stroke. The work sits inside the abstract expressionist movement.

A fine art print keeps those ink lines clear on paper. The white frame gives a plain edge around the image, while the wood frame leaves a warm line beside the ink. A copy above a reading corner desk lets the lines stay quiet near the armrest, and the viewer notices the single stroke that reaches the bottom.
