The Pink Cloud — Fine Art

The Pink Cloud by Henri-Edmond Cross sets loose strokes of soft pink and pale green across the paper. The marks sit side by side like small colour patches, a touch of the pointillist style the artist used in his later work.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The matte paper holds the pink without any shine under a lamp, so the colour patches read as they are.

On a kitchen wall at eye level near the sink, you notice the pink patches first, then the pale green ones behind them, while the kettle steams on the counter.
