Untitled 6 - Tachisme shows a field of loose marks laid down with paint. The paint moves in thin streams and pooled spots, with light patches pulled through darker colour. Wols worked by letting the paint run and settle on the surface, so the marks stay open and uneven.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The matte surface keeps the thin paint lines soft and stops bright reflections from sitting on the marks. You can hang it ready to hang when you choose that option.

In a kitchen, the pale parts of the paint catch the morning light on the wall near the sink. From the table you see the running streaks, and the frame stays out of the way behind the busy counter.
