A Bare Treetop in the Garden of the Asylum

A bare treetop in the garden of the asylum shows a single tree crown drawn against a flat stretch of ground. Short strokes cover the trunk and the branches in a post impressionist manner. The sky sits above the tree in a plain band.

This fine art piece uses a white frame or a wood frame or a dark wood frame or a black frame. The frame gives the tree a clear edge on the wall. The edge separates the strokes from the room around it.

It works above the kitchen sink. From the doorway the top of the tree meets the shelf line. From the table you notice the short parallel strokes on the bark.
