A Grande - 1970 shows a broad painted shape laid across the field with steady pressure. The mark runs as a single gesture that stays even from edge to edge. Joao Vieira works from gesture and material in his abstract practice. The surface carries the speed of the hand that made it.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The matte paper keeps the painted tone even where the mark turns thin.
