A Kind of Cat 1937 — Fine Art

A Kind of Cat 1937 by Paul Klee shows a small animal shape built from thin lines and small colour patches. The marks run across the page in a way that feels quick and uneven. The scene reads as a sketch with a playful mood.

The picture is a fine art print with a white frame around the edge. The white frame gives the picture a clear line on the wall and lets the small colour patches sit without a dark border cutting them off.

It fits above a desk near the window where morning light falls across the page. From the chair you see the animal shape first, then the pencil like marks when you lean in.
