A Village

The village roads lead the eye toward the centre and a cluster of houses stays near the left edge. A Village by Andre Derain keeps the middle field open so the shapes do not crowd each other. Bright colour patches sit on the paper without blending into one tone.

The picture is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The frame covers the paper edge and the back panel keeps the print flat against the wall. It arrives ready to hang when the option is used.

In a dining room the picture reads from the table during dinner. The bright colour blocks hold attention from that distance and the open centre lets the room breathe. The frame edge finishes the look on the wall.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
