Abstract Composition — Fine Art

Abstract Composition by Gabriele Munter uses quick brush strokes and a few solid colour patches across the surface. The marks move in different directions, some thin and some thick, laid down with paint and sometimes pencil. A fine art print keeps those varied touches clear on a smooth ground.

The print sits on a matte paper so fast strokes read as paint and small pencil lines stay visible without a shine. A light frame on a dark wall makes the pale areas stand out, while a dark frame on a pale wall pulls the darker strokes forward.

Hang it on a kitchen wall near a window, where morning light falls across the marks at an angle. From the table you see the broad colour patches first, then the thin strokes when you stand by the counter.
