Soft shapes drift across the paper like clouds over water. Jean Arp’s *Abstract Composition* refuses to settle into any single form.
Curves swell and recede in matte ivory and slate gray, their edges blurred as if smudged by a fingertip. A single ochre oval floats near the top, anchoring the lighter masses below. The surface feels quiet, yet the shapes seem to breathe, expanding and contracting without warning.
Hang it above a low sofa where afternoon light can graze the paper, or let it hover alone on a narrow hallway wall, turning a passage into a pause.
