Abstract Composition with Semicircles — Fine Art

Semi circles of colour sit in a row across the sheet in Abstract Composition with Semicircles. The arcs shift from one tone to the next, with a thin drawn edge between each band. Sonia Delaunay worked in the Orphism movement, using bright flat colour and repeated curved forms.

This fine art print sits inside a frame with a clear edge on the wall. Choose white, wood, dark wood or black for the frame finish. The frame edge holds the semicircles and keeps the colour bands from fading into the wall.

Hang it on the wall by the kitchen table, where the morning light lands on the upper arc. You see the full row of semicircles while you wash up, and the darker band sits beside the kettle. The plain frame keeps the colours steady against the tiles.
