Achilles

Achilles by Barnett Newman shows a flat field of colour with a sharp vertical band dividing the picture. The paint covers the surface evenly and the edge between the bands stays clean. A wide stripe runs top to bottom through the middle of the image.

This is a fine art print set in a frame, with a back panel behind the glass. When the ready to hang option is used it arrives assembled. The frame sits around the print and the back panel keeps the print flat.

It fits on a bedroom wall beside a bed. The vertical band catches the morning light when the sun comes through the curtain gap. From the doorway you see the two colour fields and the clean edge between them.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
