An Isles of Shoals Day — Fine Art

An Isles of Shoals Day shows water and rocks under bright sky. The painting uses quick brushwork and cool tones, the way Childe Hassam painted New England shores. You can see the light on the water and the dark rocks near the shore.

This fine art print comes with a frame in white, wood, dark wood or black. The frame gives the picture a clear edge on the wall. A white frame makes the cool blues feel open. A dark wood frame makes the rocks stand out more.

On a kitchen wall you see the water shapes first. The light line moves across the top. You notice the small brush marks when you stand near the sink.
