Autumn, Algoma

The title Autumn, Algoma tells you the season and the place. Frank Johnston fills the sheet with a Canadian forest scene in warm leaf tones and clear air. Lines follow the trunks and the ground with a steady hand, a typical Art Nouveau Modern touch.

This is a fine art print set in a frame, with a back panel behind the picture. The paper stays matte, so the yellows and browns sit flat and the light stays even when a lamp is on.

In a reading corner the tree shapes hold the eye while you sit with a book. From the chair you notice the line of trunks, and the corner feels settled.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
