Azul 1994 — Fine Art

Azul 1994 by Esteban Vicente holds a deep blue field with softer bands of colour laid across it. The painting sits in the Spanish abstract tradition of the late twentieth century, where colour decides the space. The brushwork stays loose and the edges do not harden.

The print comes as a fine art piece with a frame in white, wood, dark wood or black. A white frame keeps the blue open and airy, while a dark wood frame gives the edge a steady hold. The frame gives the picture a clear edge on the wall.

It works on a bedroom wall seen from the foot of the bed. The blue reads soft in the morning light, and the frame edge settles the view before you turn away.
