Bananas — Fine Art

Bananas by Juan Gris shows fruit in a still life arrangement. The eye lands on the curved yellow forms first, then moves to the flat blocks of colour behind them. Some areas stay open while the painted marks gather near the fruit.

A fine art print keeps the flat colour areas clear and the pencil lines readable. The frame finish follows the room, so a light frame on a dark wall or a wood frame beside wooden furniture both work.

It hangs on a kitchen wall that gets morning light from a side window. From the doorway you see the yellow curve before the smaller colour patches.
