Basel Mural I

Light moves differently in a room with Basel Mural I. Sam Francis, working within the Abstract Expressionism tradition during the 1950s–1990s, had a particular gift for luminous bursts of color with expansive open whites — and this work is a masterclass in that gift. It shifts with the hour and rewards every viewing.

This archival-quality framed print is produced on premium matte paper and set in a solid wood frame with shatter-resistant plexiglass, delivered ready to hang. It suits a gallery wall or any space where atmosphere and art intersect. A piece that earns its position daily.

A remarkable graduation gift for anyone who understands that great art transforms a space. Learn more about Sam Francis and immerse yourself in the broader world of this extraordinary artist.
