About this work
Beach
Gentle waves lap at the shore in Ivan Shishkin's Beach. This serene coastal scene captures the quiet beauty of a day by the water, where the land meets the sea in perfect harmony.
Shishkin's meticulous attention to detail is evident in the delicate rendering of the sand, the subtle play of light on the water, and the soft hues of the sky. The composition is balanced, with the horizon line dividing the scene, creating a sense of calm and tranquility. The colors are muted, with soft blues, greens, and earthy tones that blend seamlessly together.
This poster brings a sense of peace to any room. It works well in a bedroom or living area where relaxation is key.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.
For your country, this piece is estimated at 3 to 6 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.
If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
