Bent Blue 1971 — Fine Art

Bent Blue 1971 by Jasper Johns shows folded blue paint over a pale ground with small marks on top. The blue sits in soft layers that read as a solid block from across the room. Up close the paint breaks into short strokes and the paper shows through in places.

This fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel and arrives assembled when you choose ready to hang. The matte paper keeps the blue from shining and holds the thin marks without flattening them.

It fits a bedroom wall near a bed where morning light touches the blue while the rest of the room stays dim. You notice the folded paint first, then the small marks when you stand close.
