Blue Bones

Blue Bones by Sam Francis shows a blue field laid over a lighter ground. Broad sweeps of paint run through the sheet with open gaps between them. The marks stay loose and the paint holds its texture on the surface.

This fine art print is set in a frame with a back panel. It arrives assembled when the ready to hang option is used. The matte paper keeps the blue tones flat so they do not shine back under a lamp.

Hang it above a long sofa where you walk past it each day. From the doorway the blue band reads first, and up close the open spaces between the sweeps stay clear.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
