Blue from the series Line Form Color

A solid blue shape sits on the page within the line form color series. The shape has clean edges and holds a steady tone. Ellsworth Kelly made it from a simple color study idea.

You get a fine art print with a frame in white, wood, dark wood or black. The frame gives the picture a clear edge on the wall. The solid blue reads cleanly against the frame line.

Place it above a plain desk or a hallway wall. Stand back and the blue shape reads as one flat tone. Step closer and the even color covers the field without breaks.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
