Blue With Red, Yellow and Orange

Blue With Red, Yellow and Orange sets broad colour fields across the sheet. Sam Francis worked with soft washes and open space during his abstract expressionist period. A blue field meets red, yellow and orange in separate areas. The marks stay loose rather than sharp.

The product is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. It arrives assembled when the ready to hang option is used. Matte paper keeps the colour fields from reflecting light from a lamp.

It works well above a desk where you study for long stretches. From the chair you see the four colour areas at once. From across the room the fields read as broad shapes against the wall.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
