Bottle and Fruit Dish — Fine Art

A bottle and a fruit dish rest on a table in Bottle and Fruit Dish. The flat planes meet with steady outlines and muted colour blocks. A glass container holds clear liquid beside bowls of fruit. The pattern repeats in simple forms. Juan Gris painted in a cubist manner with clear colour planes.

The white frame gives the image a sharp border. That border holds the colour planes in place and keeps the lines from fading into the wall. This fine art print shows the picture with a clean edge.

In a dining room, the picture hangs on the side wall near the table. You see the bottle outline first, then the fruit shapes behind it. The light from the window touches the glass form.
