Bouquet of Roses — Fine Art

Bouquet of Roses shows a loose gathering of flower heads in soft greens and warm pinks. The brush passes across the sheet with light pressure, leaving gaps between the petals. Raoul Dufy lets each stem hold its own tilt rather than standing straight. The image reads as a quick gathering of roses on paper.

This fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel. The matte sheet keeps the soft greens and warm pinks from flashing under a lamp. The back panel gives the piece a firm edge when you carry it.

In a dining room, the blooms sit above the table and the greens pick up the plant on the sill. From the doorway the row of flower heads settles into the pale wall. The room feels quieter with the picture there.
