Brise d Automne — Fine Art

Brise d Automne by Marcel Barbeau sets a soft wind across the sheet. The paint sits in loose sweeps that read like moving air. Touches of colour drift over a quieter field. The work stays close to the artist usual way of handling paint with gesture and chance.

This fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel and arrives ready to hang. The matte surface keeps the softer tones from shining under a lamp. You see the paint traces as they are, without a glossy layer between you and the image.

On a hallway wall, the open strokes read from the stair landing. From the bedroom door, the colour shifts pull your eye a little way into the sheet. The frame edge gives the image a firm line to rest against.
