California Orchid — Fine Art

A thin orchid stem rises from the bottom with a few pale petals near the top. Soft greens sit under pink and white shapes, and the background stays plain so the flower has room. California Orchid uses the clean lines and flat colour that Eyvind Earle often used in his illustrations.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The paper is matte, so the light petals stay soft and there is no shine under a lamp. You can choose a frame finish that matches the room, a light frame on a dark wall or a wood frame beside wooden furniture.

Hang it on a pale wall above a desk, with daylight from a side window. From a chair across the room you see the stem and the petals, and up close you notice the clean outlines.
