Canto XVI

A wide field of colour is divided by a single vertical band in Canto XVI. The sides stay open and the middle shape holds the eye. Barnett Newman painted in this way.

From across the room you see two large areas. Up close the paint edges show the hand of the artist. The fine art print keeps that broad look on paper.
