About this work
Cart in an Autumn Landscape
A solitary cart rests in a field of muted golds and greens. Cart in an Autumn Landscape is a quiet meditation on rural solitude, the kind that only the countryside can offer, unburdened by the noise of progress.
Loiseaus brushwork is loose yet deliberate, each stroke contributing to a tapestry of earthy hues. The cart, though central, is unassuming, its wooden form weathered by time and elements. The landscape around it is a symphony of autumnal tones, with patches of ochre and umber peeking through the verdant field. The sky above is a soft, pale blue, a gentle contrast to the warm tones below.
This print belongs in a space that values contemplation, perhaps a study or a quiet corner of a living room, where it can be appreciated in moments of reflection.

Information
Frequently asked
Yes. This is a stretched canvas, not a rolled or loose print: the image is printed on a cotton-polyester canvas (300 to 350 gsm) and wrapped over FSC-certified wood stretcher bars, 4 cm deep. A hanging kit is included in the box, so no frame, glazing or assembly is needed. Hardware supplied can vary slightly by country depending on which of our ateliers produces your piece.
The canvas is a cotton-polyester blend, 300 to 350 gsm (350 to 400 microns), printed with archival pigment inks and stretched over responsibly sourced, FSC-certified wood stretcher bars. This edition is the 4 cm Thick profile, which gives the piece real presence on the wall and lets it hang cleanly without a frame. The texture of the weave is part of the finish and is visible up close. To clean it, dust gently with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid water, solvents and direct sunlight for long periods. Every canvas is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and nothing sits in a warehouse.
As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.
For your country, this piece is estimated at 4 to 7 business days from the moment you order, on our free tracked Economy service. Express is offered at checkout where available.
