Catalan Via Paris — Fine Art

A broad painted band crosses the sheet in a steady sweep. Catalan Via Paris - 1984 shows warm color laid over a muted ground. The paint sits in soft layers that shift as you move past the wall.

The object is a fine art print on matte paper, so the light tones stay soft and there is no shine under a lamp. A light frame on a dark wall lets the color band stand out, while a wood frame beside wooden furniture keeps the tone steady.

It fits a hallway wall, hung a little above the handrail so the broad color band leads the eye down the space. From the landing you see the soft layers, and from the far end you notice the clean painted edge where the color stops.
