Cave Dwellings Near Sperlinga Sicily

In Cave Dwellings Near Sperlinga Sicily the eye moves over stepped houses carved into a hillside. A few open mouths of rooms sit dark against the pale stone. The artist MC Escher built these forms with clear lines that stay separate and do not blur together.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that takes a nail or screw. You do not need a frame. The matte surface keeps the stone tones soft, so the dark openings stay quiet under a lamp.

Hang it on the landing wall beside the stairs. From the bottom step you catch the stepped shapes against the plaster, and at the top you notice the small pencil marks around each doorway.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
