Celebration

A soft field of colour sits behind a few painted shapes in Celebration, Birth - 1976. The marks look like small gestures laid over a calm background. Richard Pousette-Dart often built his paintings this way, with layered colour and quiet shapes.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The frame holds the image flat and the back panel keeps it steady on the wall. You get a finished piece ready to hang when the ready to hang option is used.

In a bedroom, the pale shapes read first from the foot of the bed. Up close near the side table you see the small changes in the paint. The frame keeps the edges neat against the plaster.
