Soft grey and blue strokes climb the paper in Cliff at Petit Ailly. The paint moves in short quick marks that follow the rock face and the sea below. Claude Monet worked outside to catch the coast at a single moment.

This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. The brushwork stays loose and uneven across the whole surface. Each stroke sits on top of the paper with a small amount of paint. The sky holds the same grey tones as the water.
