Coast Scene, Isles of Shoals — Fine Art

Coast Scene, Isles of Shoals sets a rocky shoreline against open water. Childe Hassam painted the shore in loose strokes and cool tones. The artist worked in American impressionism, carrying bright weather and quick brushwork from his New England seascapes.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The white frame gives Coast Scene, Isles of Shoals a clean border. The edge keeps the painted water from spreading into the room.

Hang it on the landing wall near the stair window. From the bottom step you read the brushy water first, then the shoreline shapes above.
