Composition in Color A — Fine Art

Composition in Color A shows flat blocks of color set apart by black lines on a white ground. Piet Mondrian arranged red, blue and yellow shapes inside a grid. Each block sits flat without shading. The lines hold the blocks in place.

This fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel, ready to hang when assembled. The matte paper keeps the flat colour blocks even and the black lines sharp. The surface does not shine under a lamp, so the picture reads the same from any angle.

In a kitchen, the blocks line up with the cabinet fronts and the counter. From the doorway you see the white space and the black lines first, then the colour blocks fill in. The flat shapes keep the room from feeling busy.
