Corpse and Mirror 1969 0 — Fine Art

Corpse and Mirror 1969 0 sets a dark shape beside a lighter one on a flat field. The eye moves from the heavier mark to the open space beside it, and much of the sheet stays clear. Jasper Johns often built work around such held balance.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy.

In a bedroom, the image sits on a wall beside the bed and the dark shape settles low while the empty part stays near the lamp. At the foot of the bed the contrast feels calm, and the room stays quiet.
