Corpse and Mirror 1969 2

Corpse and Mirror 1969 2 puts a figure beside a reflective surface in a cool mix of grey, green and black. The tones sit close together, so the edge between them stays soft. Jasper Johns built this image with steady, flat colour and a plain outline. The picture feels settled rather than loud.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The frame holds the picture flat and the back panel keeps the print secure. With the ready to hang option the piece arrives assembled on the wall.

It suits a bedroom wall above a narrow bed. From the foot of the bed you see the dark shape of the figure and the lighter strip of the mirror. The small room keeps the colours close to the eye.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
