Cosmic Composition 1919 — Fine Art

Cosmic Composition 1919 shows bands of blue, red and yellow set across a pale ground. The colours sit near one another without blending. A few dark marks run over the surface and break the smooth colour patches.

You get a fine art print on matte paper, so the blue tones stay soft and there is no shine under a lamp. A light frame on a dark wall lets the red band stand out, while a dark frame on a pale wall keeps the page calm.

It hangs on the stairwell wall halfway up the steps, where daylight from the landing hits the paper at an angle. From the bottom step you see the blue band first, then the red above it, and the dark marks only when you stop on a tread.
