Cottages in a landscape — Fine Art

Small houses stand in a green field with trees behind them. Cottages in a landscape shows this ordinary scene in paint. Armand Guillaumin often built his pictures from strong colour patches and broad strokes. The picture keeps its simple layout and steady tones.

This fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel. The matte paper holds the greens and earth tones without a shine. You get a ready to hang piece that keeps the flat painted look of the original work.

Hang it in a hallway where the light hits the wall sideways. From the far end you notice the row of houses first. Closer up the painted strokes show their rough edges.
